Wheat Fields in Summer Gold We lived at the endI grew up in a rural area surrounded by farmland in both the US and in the UK. There's something so comforting about the glow of wheat fields under a hot summer sun. I can feel the heat as taste the air as I gaze into this piece. This was one of those times that exactly what I had envisioned in my mind came out on to the canvas, or rather, wood. This is one of my current favorite paintings and I hope it goes to someone who loves it just as much as me!
