Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC it is a bottom-fermented lager20 year old vines with grapes picked by hand and a drying period of 30 days. Fermentation in in stainless steel tanks until February and then second (ripasso) fermentation on Amarone and Recioto skins. Aged in oak for 12 months. Deep ruby red with violet nuances. Elegant bouquet with notes of cherry and spices. Intense, warm, full bodied and velvety smooth. Very fine tannins with a long finish.
