Beautiful sunrises can be seen on most mornings at Wildflower Lake in Northern Illinois

purples and orange as they are reflected onto the surface of Wildflower Lake with a mild breeze slowly moving across the lake in the distance leaving ripples of peace in its wake

so I snapped a couple of shots

the South Fork Kishwaukee River begins to freeze from the edges inward as the afternoon sunlight illuminates this landscape giving the river an amazing deep color blue
