Third Reich German Mother's Cross in Gold Cased early 20th century military cap features the unit’s light infantryAn original Third Reich period Cross of Honour of the German Mother, 1st Class, gold grade. Gilded alloy with enamels. Shortened length of neck ribbon. Housed in case of issue that is maker marked "Werner Redo Saarlautern". There is a pin head flaw in he central enamels beneath the top arm of the emblem. Surface micro scratches. Otherwise very good condition. The case in very good condition overall. A small piece of skin loss on the underneath.
