We did speak with a fallschirmjäger vet that said they were issued an ice baseplate to jump with which the jäger was expected to simply hold on to when he lept from the plane

The instructions make it much more interesting than a plain message book and far more displayable as there is so much more detail

MEASUREMENTS (approximate): Bust 36" Waist 28" Length 19" Blouse has a rounded collar and fabric covered buttons. The sleeves are three quarter length. It is made from a slubby iridescent material (possibly silk?). It has a lovely shine to it. There are three snaps to attach shoulder pads. It is in generally good condition. It shows some minor general wear and may have some light discoloration (hard to tell
