The Foss sharpening stone cleaner is the perfect product for cleaning sharpening or polishing stones. It removes debris from sharpening and exposes the stone so it can work effectively. Mix the cleaner with water: 1 part cleaner, 40 parts water. Keep the stone submerged in a closed container for several hours. Dry the stone and add sharpening oil before sharpening again.
