The leather covers are very hard to find as they are rather fragile and relatively useless to anyone outside of the German Army so they were generally not well stored

Helmets would have rubbed something in their journey from the factory to the quartermaster

I did not find any holes but there is some slight discoloration or staining from age and storage

German Dr. Scholl's Massage Creme Jar dday2023 It has some wearDr. Scholl's Foot cream glass jar with a little remnant inside. This was found with mostly all original WWII items, but I am having trouble dating it exactly. The Scholl's company in Frankfurt is mentioned in some war time documents, so the company was operating in Germany, but not surprisingly they don't really go into detail on this part of the company history. It is in good condition with a nice label.
