This bas relief is inspired by one of the two impressive stone lions displayed in the Feldherrnhalle, Munich (Wilhelm von Rhmann, 1906). On the background we can see the Bavarian flag, with its characteristic white and blue lozenges, maybe representative of the beautiful lakes and rivers of this Land.
