This version you see here is opened, closed and even locked by the ancient looking hand forged key you can see in the detail(as an optional extra). The lower decorative panel is incorporated to cover a plain sheet metal blank which is common on many mass produced fireplace inserts; you can order this screen without it if your fireplace doesn't need it.
