At 66 this rod is much shorter than the normal fly rod length of 9 feet, and with a mixture of graphite and fiberglass in the blank, its not your average construction material either
I like the flexible recoil guides, the top-quality cork grip and the fancy reel seat
The only issue I have is that it seems to lift at speed so I have to tighten chin strap up tight
