It's not a criticism, merely an observation linked to what I understand about rod building - not that much I grant you, but I have played and fished with a few of the longer 9' plus bass fishing lure rods and whilst some of them I think are awesome rods that are going to work for lots of anglers, for the most part they are not for me long term and I go back to my 8' to 8'6'' ones
